As Allappys says, the 2008 reunion was held at the Werribee RSL due to the non-availability of our normal venue, the Melbourne RSL.  We had about 60 people attending which is about par when compared to previous functions.

Being a Saturday and a nice sunny day in Melbourne, a lot of the bowlers sadly didn't front. Perhaps we can pray for rain and coax them next year.

The function was quite successful with the 20th Intake taking the shield for the most attendees (of course they had to ring-in a couple of RadTechs to win).

We had the usual people with a few who hadn't attended for some time so there is scope for increased attendances in forthcoming years as we all get that little bit older.

Enclosed are photos taken at the function. They will be added to the DVD slide show that has been produced covering reunions from 1973 to 2008. We will have approval to use music provided by the Air Force Band (For the uninitiated, the new name of the RAAF Central Band) and it is hoped that the

DVD will be completed shortly.  It will be on 2 DVDs this year and cost $12  at your door. Those wanting copiers of the slide show should contact me and I will provide you with all the relevant details on how to purchase. All proceeds are put towards funding of future reunions.
